We enjoyed great feedback from our revised, re-launched and revamped awards last year. So much so that we've decided to make a couple of new additions this year introducing a new category to honour the skills of professional make-up specialists and opening up the Day Spa category to include the growing number of city spas offering fabulous client relaxation and treatment facilities as well as expanding our Residential Spa category.
You'll be glad to know that one thing we won't be changing is the high standard of judging. With our salons, spas, therapists, employers, nail professionals and make-up artist categories, a hand-picked panel of industry experts will judge the portfolios. The finalists will be visited by the editorial team and a mystery shopper, and make-up professionals, therapists and nail professionals will perform treatments in front of our panel.
We'll ask suppliers' stockists to rate them on a range of criteria, such as their sales and marketing support, products and training. It is their own customers in salons and spas that will decide who picks up the trophies.
It couldn't be fairer, and if you are the best at what you do, these are the awards to be involved in to prove it to your peers, your customers and yourself and your team.
