Therapist of the Year
Who can enter?
Any therapist who has been working in a salon or spa or as a mobile therapist since at least December 2007
What do the judges want to see?
- An ability to perform a range of treatments
- Excellent beauty skills that retain customers
- Brilliant standards of customer service from meeting and greeting to the end of the treatment
- A thirst for gaining knowledge, and a desire to help others in the team learn (where relevant)
- Contribution of ideas to the salon, spa or beauty business
- Fantastic selling skills
- An interest in raising the standard and promoting the industry as a whole
What to include
- Fill out the downloadable entry form
- A typed executive summary of no more than 500 words on why you should win, detailing your approach and your achievements from December 2007 to October 2008, as well as the training you currently hold and your training plans and ambitions for the future
- Professional photographs of yourself
- Testimonials from three clients
- A copy of your CV - no more than two sides of A4
Shortlisted therapists will be invited to Professional Beauty's offices to perform treatments and be interviewed by the panel, and so must be available to come to London in the week commencing Monday January 26 2009
